Terms of Use

Please read these terms carefully before using the Support Referrals Australia platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Support Referrals Australia website at supportreferrals.com.au you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all users of the platform including participants, family members, carers, referrers and NDIS providers.

2. About Us

Support Referrals Australia Pty Ltd operates the platform at supportreferrals.com.au. We are a placement service connecting NDIS participants with verified NDIS service providers. We are not an NDIS provider ourselves and do not deliver NDIS supports directly. Contact: info@supportreferrals.com.au.

3. Our Service

Support Referrals Australia provides a free referral and placement matching service for NDIS participants. We connect participants with verified, available NDIS providers including Support Coordinators, Specialist Support Coordinators, Psychosocial Recovery Coaches and Plan Managers. Our service includes:

  • Receiving and processing referrals from participants, families and referrers
  • Matching participants with verified, available providers
  • Facilitating introductions between participants and providers
  • Following up to confirm successful onboarding
  • Invoicing providers on successful placement

4. Free Service for Participants

Our service is completely free for NDIS participants, families and carers. There is no cost at any stage of the referral or placement process for participants. Providers pay a placement fee of $295 + GST only when a participant is successfully onboarded.

5. No Guarantee of Placement

While we make every effort to match all participants with suitable providers we cannot guarantee that a match will always be found. Availability of providers varies by location, service type and capacity at any given time. We will always advise you if we are unable to find a suitable match.

6. Participant and Referrer Responsibilities

When using our service you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information in the referral form
  • Ensure you have the participant's consent before submitting a referral on their behalf
  • Notify us of any changes to the participant's circumstances or needs
  • Treat our placement officers and staff with respect
  • Not submit duplicate referrals for the same participant within 60 days

7. Provider Responsibilities

Registered providers agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information at registration and keep it up to date
  • Maintain current and valid insurance at all times
  • Comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct at all times
  • Respond to referral notifications within 2 business days
  • Keep capacity status accurate and up to date at all times
  • Notify Support Referrals Australia immediately of any changes to insurance, registration or compliance status
  • Pay placement invoices within 14 days of issue
  • Not contact participant referrers or families obtained through our platform for any purpose other than the specific referral

8. Provider Fees and Payment

The contracting entity is Support Referrals Australia Pty Ltd, ABN 59 699 657 095. Providers agree to pay a placement fee of $295 + GST ($321.82 total) per successful commencement of a participant onboarded through our platform. Invoices are issued as Australian Tax Invoices once commencement is confirmed. Payment is due within 14 days of commencement. Providers must agree to these terms during registration. Providers who fail to pay invoices within 30 days may be suspended from the platform pending payment. Disputed invoices must be raised in writing within 7 days of issue.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Support Referrals Australia website including text, logos, graphics, design and software is owned by or licensed to Support Referrals Australia Pty Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of our platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our platform you consent to our privacy practices as described in that policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law Support Referrals Australia Pty Ltd is not liable for:

  • The quality, safety or suitability of any NDIS provider matched through our platform
  • Any loss or damage arising from the actions or omissions of a matched provider
  • Any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of our platform
  • Any interruption or unavailability of our platform

We are a matching and placement service only. The relationship and service agreement is between the participant and the provider. We are not responsible for the delivery of NDIS supports.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Support Referrals Australia Pty Ltd from any claims, losses or damages arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of our platform.

13. Complaints

If you have a complaint about our service please refer to our Complaints Policy. We are committed to resolving all complaints fairly and within 5 business days.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version will always be available at supportreferrals.com.au/terms. Continued use of our platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
